IAF made a successful landing at the Nyoma airbase in Ladakh, highest altitude of 13600 ft touchdown. The 3-kilometre runway in Nyoma was built to enable rapid mobilisation of defence forces and strengthen India's strategic capabilities along the northern frontier. ఈ రకానికి చెందిన రవాణా విమానం ఈ స్థాయి ఎత్తు ఉన్న ఎయిర్ బేస్ స్టేషన్ లో సురక్షితంగా ల్యాండ్ కావడం ఇదే మొదటిసారి.
