A cyclonic storm over the northwest Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify further before crossing the Odisha-West Bengal coast. Strong winds are forecast along the North Andhra coast.వాయువ్య బంగాళాఖాతంలో ఉన్న తుఫాను, ఒడిశా-పశ్చిమ బెంగాల్ తీరాలను దాటే ముందు మరింత బలపడే అవకాశం ఉంది. దీని ప్రభావంతో ఉత్తరాంధ్ర తీరం వెంబడి బలమైన గాలులు వీస్తాయని అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
